Kroger Grocery Store in Jackson, Mississippi

Another state, another major

grocery store chain to 

visit.... Kroger.

Of all the things listed on

this sign, applesauce jars

caught my eye.

Eric and I started using non-refrigerated skim milk in cartons in Nicaragua after a purchase went bad after three days.  I liked the longer shelf life for this type of milk.  We are now on the hunt for this kind of milk container while traveling in the South.  No luck at Piggly Wiggly and Winn Dixie.  Eric found Hershey's Skim Milk in non-refrigerated form and bought one. 

Kroger has its own

 line of merchandise

and Freshlike
canned vegetables

Tomato Keepers

We are going to be looking for Krogers in our travels for our non-refrigerated 

skim milk supply.
