A Review of Lakeside RV Park in Livingston, LA

Lakeside RV Park has 143 sites that ring a lake.  Each site is on a concrete pad and there's plenty of room for the tow vehicle.  There are a limited number of pull through sites, about a dozen.  We had a "back in site," which is no problem for Eric to negotiate.

The staff at Lakeside RV Park guide the newcomer to the site and assist in parking.  I barreled out of the Jeep, which we had unhitched to help with parking, only to find this job was taken care of for me.

We were parked at Site 139.  This section of the RV Park is closest to Route 12.  Traffic drops off around 11 pm and the road stays quiet until about 7 am.  We didn't hear train rumbles or whistles.  This is an unusual experience for us, so far.

The Camp Store has a postal box for mail pick up.    There is daily trash pick up at each site.  This is very convenient.

The pavilion includes an
enclosed area.

Groups can meet in all kinds
of weather.

The swimming pool area is very
nice. The area was closed, as it's
 not warm enough for
 swimming right now.

Lakeside RV Park has Wifi.  Speeds vary depending on the numbers of campers using the service at any given time.

There's a small playground
available for children.

There are dog walking areas.

I met a lady who was traveling
through the area who got permission
to use this area.

The Louisiana State Visitors Centers
have been closed.

Eric and I had a comfortable stay and will add this RV Park to our list of "Recommended for Return Camping Sites."
