The Greek House in Troy, New York

Eric got a Groupon for The Greek House when we were traveling.  After our visit to the New York State Capitol in Albany, NY, we crossed the Hudson River and went to Troy for an early dinner.

Handily located at
27 3rd Street in
Downtown Troy

The beauty of Greece

This small restaurant
has a very comfortable feel.

Chris Krystallis, owner of the restaurant spent time telling us about our choices.  We had a platter with Tzatziki, Revithosalata and Melitzanosalata spreads with Pita, and Mezedakia, a tray with Feta Cheese, Kalamata Olives, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Tzataziki Sauce and  Pita.  We  enjoyed sampling these appetizers.
Eric had the House Red Wine and I tried the House White.  They were good choices.

Greek wines are available
by the bottle.

Eric and I enjoyed out time at The Greek House and wish Chris much luck with the business.  We highly recommend this restaurant and wish we could be frequent visitors.
