In Search of Decent WIFI in Colonie, New York

Eric got a replacement Droid Razr Maxx yesterday.  His had not been charging properly and acquired a few other glitches.  The only fix for such problems is a replacement.

A new phone means lots of app downloads as Eric configures the new phone to match his old one.  We have limited monthly bandwidth with our Verizon Share Plan and its the second week in November.  There's no need to burn through bandwidth for downloading while there is free WIFI available.

Our plan was to use the WIFI at Barnes & Noble in Colonie Center after visiting at the Department of Transportation on Wolf Road.  It was a great plan.

I read the first few chapters of the new Lee Woodruff book, Those We Love Most

Lee will be at the Schenectady Public Library Saturday, November 10 at 2 pm to talk about this, her first novel.  Reservations can be made by calling 518-388-4511.  I look forward to hearing her speak.

Eric wasn't getting the download stability that he needed for his phone configuration.  I suggested the William K. Sanford Library at the end of Wolf Road on Albany Shaker Road.

We are sitting outside the Teen Zone, listening to a Geometry tutor and his student.  It beats the Reference Area, which feels more crowded.

I'm getting lots done because my friends Dave and Ann-Marie, are at the New York Library Association Conference in Saratoga Springs, NY.  It looks like I have to add the William K. Sanford Library to my list of places to visit again before we leave the area.
