East to New York

Eric and I are heading to his Mom's house in Rotterdam, NY. We will be visiting family and friends while we wait for the phone call from our son-in-law, Damon.  Then we will travel to Hudson, NH to meet the newest member of the family.  So excited!

I spoke with my daughter, Diane, a few days before Sandy reached New England.  I asked her if she wanted a Halloween Baby.  She told me that she's happy to wait the three and a half weeks to her due date.

We are traveling in Northern Ohio, hoping that Lake Erie will provide a slightly warmer drive for us.   We got rain.

 Windmills in an industrial area.  Great idea!

 Eric prefers fueling up at the Cars & RVs area of Flying J.

He says the ground around the pumps has less grease and fuel spillage... 

We have light colored carpeting in the motorhome and it's a pain to pull out another 

pair of shoes just for fueling up.

 The Propane Tank is located on the curb side of the rig.

I hope they have a long hose for LP fueling.

and dump facilities on the other side with the fuel pump.
