2012 Beaujolais Nouveau at Empire Wine and Liquor, Colonie, NY

Beaujolais Nouveau is available of sale the third Thursday of November each year.  Empire Wine and Liquor sells this special wine at a great discount.  Eric and I got two different bottles and had a taste testing. We also bought two Kenwood wines we were introduced to Tuesday night at the Waters Edge Lighthouse in Glenville, NY.

We preferred the Georges DuBeouf to the Joseph Drouhin.  

The DuBoeuf has a light crispness.  The Drouhin is kind of forgettable. 

Eric and I had the Kenwood Russian Valley Pinot Noir and Jack London

2010 Zinfandel at the Water's Edge Lighthouse Dinner and
Wine Tasting Tuesday night and we liked both of them.

Tomorrow we are making a St. Germain Hummingbird for

Eric's Mom.  It has Champagne and Club Soda.
