Using RV Services at Flying J

On Thursday, Brian Aylworth at the Flying J in Boise, ID told us to look for the RV gas pumps at Flying Js because they have water faucets and dump stations.  The nice lady who gave Eric the correct discount card for RVers told him that the discount card allows users free dumping.  Maybe dumping fees vary by the Flying J.  This gas station charged us $5.00 to dump, with a fill up.  RVers can dump and fill without a purchase for $10.00.

Today we are trying out all of the
services for RVers at the Flying J
 in Salt Lake City.

Eric puts in the code
to unlock the
dump station.

The hose with filter
is all set up to fill
the water tank.

Eric checks the water
fill while the water &
sewer  tanks drain.

Our waste water
is dumping.

The water connection
sprays, so we
added a towel to
avoid being sprayed.

I moved the windshield
wipers away from the
windshield.

The bucket with the squeegee
is at the far end of the
gas pump island.

The pole is really long
for RVs.
It's also filthy.

A long pole is necessary
for cleaning the RV
windshield.

Gloves are necessary
to hold the filthy
squeegee pole.

Ginny squeegeeing
the windshield.

 Flying J is getting
a fuel delivery.

The delivery man is manipulating
the hose to get the last of
the gas from the tanker
delivered to the gas
station tank.

Eric dumped the gray and black water tanks, added water to our water tank and gassed up while I cleaned the windshield and talked with the fuel delivery man.
