East to Lincoln, Nebraska

At 8:30 am I realized that we would be crossing into Central Time before we arrive at our overnight spot at Windcrest Winery in Raymond, NE.   Our four and a half hour drive just turned into a five and a half hour drive because we will be one hour closer to Eastern Time.

Eric and I buttoned up the motor home and were headed east by 9:15 am.

Driving along, we realized
that fall came to Nebraska.

Eric was rummaging around a few days ago and dug up his Flying J Credit Card that he hadn't used in a while.  He called the company's number, found out that it was still active.  We save six cents off the cash price of diesel fuel when we use it. Today we saved six cents off the cash price of $4.25 per gallon or $4.19 per gallon at the Flying J in Elm Creek, NE.

I checked my GasBuddy app so we would know the
average price of diesel fuel.

I needed more information on Flying J Truck Stops because they have so many resources for RVers to use: water. RV dump station and propane.  We have plenty of propane now, but it's nice to know that Flying J has this available.

There are other truck stop companies, so I downloaded the Truck Stop Locator app.  This includes Love's, TA Travel Centers and more.

We are spending the night at Windcrest Winery in Raymond, NE; another Harvest Host participating business.

 Windcrest Winery
is located off of a gravel road.

Settled for the night.
On to the Tasting Room.
