A Short Visit to Springfield, Oregon

As we were driving toward Springfield, OR, I got on the Internet to find out if there are any Simpsons statues around the city.  Matt Groening finally announced in that Springfield, OR is the setting for The Simpsons.   Since the announcement in April of this year, I figured that there would be an explosion Simpson statures around the city.  Only one place has made The Simpsons their special guests.... Sweety's.

As I said in the previous post, Deb has menus for local restaurants that she has tried and recommends highly.  By coincidence,  Noodle N Thai is right next door to Sweety's. 

Off to downtown Springfield we go
