The Drive East Continues... To Clarion, Pennsylvania

Another day's drive starts
on US Route 30 East.

Spring is on its way...

Our GPS sends us to
Interstate 71 North
toward Cleveland.

Live Free Or Die! is

We return to an easterly
drive on Interstate 76.

 I love taking pictures of highway

that unfurl before me.

Another phase of
bridge construction...

The Exit we are taking

comes with instructions.

The first curve is to be
taken slowly.

Then the exit ramp changes

course.

Hoban is a private Catholic
School in Akron.

Interstate 76 East becomes

Interstate 80 East, west

of Youngstown.

Clarion, & our next overnight
stay is 20 miles away.

The Allegheny River wends its

way through forested valleys

in western Pennsylvania.

Region, before we started traveling

extensively in 2012.

Eric and I are staying overnight

in the Walmart parking lot.

We'll be back on the road again tomorrow.

Staying Home While Driving East to Ontario, Ohio

Eric & I drive our motorhome
east on US Route 30.












We are among several million full-time RVers who are always at home.  Some RVers have decided to park their homes on wheels in one spot and stay put until Covid 19 infection rates have stabilized or a vaccine has been developed.  Others, like Eric and me, are driving the highways and secondary roads across America.

Road in Ontario.

I called ahead & received
permission to stay the

night in Sam's Club
parking lot.

We always park our RV at the

 rear or along the edge of a

parking lot.

RVers appreciate businesses'

hospitality & do not impede

customer access to stores.

Today's Drive Ends in Columbia City, Indiana

Eric and I drive east at a very leisurely pace.  Today's drive is just two hours long.  It will take that long because we drive about five miles per hour below the posted speed limit.

Eric gives me a thumbs up.

We are parked on the edge
of the parking lot, far away
from the store.

East... To Valparaiso, Indiana

Today's drive starts on 

Interstate 80 East.

I wonder this barn has
a penthouse.

I catch a shot of the Morris Water Tower on the left

 & Cherry Pickers on the right.

We take Interstate 57 North

toward Chicago.

Eric & I turn onto

US Route 6 East to

 avoid a toll road.

South Holland welcomes
visitors.

Interstates 80 & 94 East

continue into Indiana.

We leave the Interstate

for US Route 30 East.

I wonder if the festive

preparations are for

a Graduation Parade

or a Birthday Parade.

Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, people can't gather for celebratory parties.  Impromptu parades have formed across America to commemorate milestones in peoples' lives.
